PC version is out
OK - from multiple sources we can say for sure - the PC version is out!
By the looks of things we are not getting any reviews right away from the official sources... so please post your first impressions in the the comments section!

IGN review is out.
Seems to be a fair, if unspectacular take on the game. In a nutshell - an improvement on the Xbox version in terms of framerate, a less than perfect control scheme, and graphics that look dated. The last one is to be expected - a better than average Xbox game is definitely going to be a below average PC one without major retooling.

some of my Hungerian friends bought the game and....fantastic! better AI better graphics and better...EVERYTHING is better than the xbox version :) they said that they'd give 9 points out of 10 for AR. I can only have the game in Saturday, so I'm quite nervous :)

I installed the game 30 minutes ago but I have not found any bugs so far. I don't know what IGN is talking about. The game seems fine to me. Can anybody else confirm???
Why wait till Saturday? if EB didn't have get it from Best Buy.
But I have to admit that the Graphics (both gameplay and cinematics) are better than Xbox version.
NOTE: Please keep in mind that AR is available on DVD only. bad news to so many people. But I have to tll you that this fact allows it to be a smooth game.
OOPS. Not every EB Game has the game only the ones in LA. Best Buy should have it though.
What shortcomings in hell is IGN talking about????? !!? ? Now I've played the game for more than 2 hours and still nothing wrong has appeared. Maybe the relationship between IGN and Majesco has not gone well lately. The seems perfectly fine to me (so far) Music is good but sometimes it does not fit the setting.
O boy I'm very angry now....people told me in a PC shop that they'll only get Advent Rising after a few days....>:((( grrrr...I hate Europe...everything comes slower than to the USA

Yes, there are few bugs: So far I found about three seekers (in different places) which got stuck in the air and the system slowed down (one time only) during the intro of the third level. That was about it. I actually don't know what to say I am shocked. They said there's gonna lots of bugs but theses are the only ones I founf so far. I think some moronic reviewers are just playing with public you get this kind of bugs in every game. Get friggin GTA: San Andres, the game has more coarse language than you have ever heard in your life. The story sucks, and there is no music to be happy about. THere are some cut rock music which totally sucks. Characters look like shit and they don't even move or talk. in Advent you can feel the environment and listen to some meaningful music.
I agree GTA sucks and by the way GTA is 59.99 (CDN) while advent is 39.99 (CDN). Anyway can anybody else confirm?? Is the PC version good or bad? Is it worth it?

I finally bought Advent Rising. I am so angry at the people who gave it a low score the game is one of the best game I have seen. Game Play and action is just like ONI and there is no bugs or errors. (Yeah right you may or may not get something or somebody stuck in an object somewhere). 3.9 out of 10. Are you guys even hearing yourselves??? Stupid little mistakes happen in every game. I give this game a score of 9.9 out of 10.

Hi friends I have some good news. I have purchased the game Advent Rising (PC). The game is absolutely amazing. The graphics are stunning as well as the game play. I really loved the guns and settings. There are tons of cinematics and dialogs. This is definetly one the best games I’ve played. BUT I have to tell you that this game does have some bugs (very few though). The first one: When you jump from a platform and try to grab another platform you are stuck and even your body would go through the ground ( of that platform). The second one /the last and most annoying one is when some scripts do not run. Main characters are talking then suddenly because you do something (like shooting for no reason) dialogues stop.
In some reviews I heard the maps are too bug and you might get lost, well I call those people fools. Because maps are too big but it is very, very easy to find what you are after. AR is a masterpiece, big maps just increase the epic sense of the game.
Am I not surprise? Those pieces of shit. Those media people are indicating minor mistakes because Majesco has done something they couldn’t have done in their whole life. Advent features great graphics, greater music/sounds, terrific story and great gameplay (Terrific AI and Almost no bugs). Now that I know I won’t listen to those pieces of shit anymore.

Well, this is my last visit too. I finished Advent Rising. I played 24 hours a day to finish it. It is one long and great game. But I have to tell you that in the very last cinematic Marin Steel is nude it should have been mentioned in the rating. (last cinematic is very very sexy). I never seen any bugs in the game though. Adevent was one of the greatest gmaes I've played. BY THE WAY AEON FLUX THE GAME is schduled to be released on 12.2.05 - Good Bye everybody.
P.S: For some reason AI is better in PC version.

I have no idea about it's arrival to Europe. By the way where do you live? DO you guys have EB Games there? I have to admit that the action is really cool. Wait a minute if you are "Deathangel" hten why did you tell us to buy the game? You said it is way better than Xbox !!! You did not have the game at the time, eh? Well anyway Seriously this game is definitely the best 3rd person action adventure shooter I have ever played in my life. I have no idea why there isn’t much review out about the game. Right now I am just hoping they make another one of these Advent Trilogies. As you might have heard everything (including Graphics and AI) are way better than Xbox. Besides AI is amazing in this game. You get lots of lots of cut scenes – all have high quality. I hope you can get it fast.
I think the reason people are leaving is that there is because they got the game. I mean at the beginnning there were only : Hamid, Rooney, Tim, and you and me.
Now we have not heard about Rooney for a long time, Hamid and Timm have left. There is no left here!

my best friend got AR from Sweden :) and he said that it's much better than the xbox version....by the way I'm still waiting for AR :((maybe I'm the only one who is waiting:(( )

In the release notes it says "PC version was relesed worldwide" I think you should be able to buyit by now. If not you could always buy it from Amazon.com. I have also purchased the soundtrack.
then worldwide not includes Hungary because i'm still waiting...but today is my name day so I'll ask my parents to order it from amazon.com :)

That's why I hate Hungary sometime...it's very SLOOOOOW :P ...I mean many movies,games, etc. doesn't gets here in time or (many times) doesn't even gets here :(
